The math

One conversation can cover the year.

As an example, a $250,000 rollover managed at a 1% advisory fee is about $2,500 in annual revenue. From a single client, that covers a full year of the Practice plan. Your results depend on your clients, your services, and your team's follow-up.

Questions

Before you get started.

What counts as a return?

One client's return for one tax year. Running the same return again after you add documents or change a setting doesn't use another. Prior-year returns you load for year-over-year comparison are included at no extra count.

Why a 25-return trial instead of 30 days?

A time limit rushes you through setup during the busiest part of the year. A return limit lets you test WealthDetect on real clients whenever you have time, at whatever pace suits your office.

What happens if we go over our plan's limit?

WealthDetect lets you know as you get close. You can move up a plan in the middle of the season and pay only the prorated difference. Your work is never locked mid-review.

Is there monthly billing?

Plans are billed annually. Each subscription covers a tax season and includes that year's form, threshold, and rule updates. Renewing subscribers receive the next tax year's updates.

What do I need to run it?

A Windows 10 or 11 computer for each person using it. Everything installs with WealthDetect; there is no separate database software to set up. Offices with several workstations can point every copy to a shared folder on their office server.

Is WealthDetect tax preparation software?

No. It is a separate opportunity-discovery tool that reviews completed returns and supporting documents for potential investment and wealth-management opportunities. It does not prepare or audit tax returns.

Does it make investment recommendations?

No. It identifies potential conversation starters for professionals to review. Your firm and its appropriately licensed personnel remain responsible for suitability, advisory decisions, and any outreach.

Who handles billing?

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. WealthDetect is a product of InQTax, so charges appear on your statement as InQTax.
